Grreater White-fronted Goose (winter), Double-crested Cormorant, Osprey, Chimney Swift, Bank and Northern Rough-winged Swallows, American Dipper, Lesser Goldfinch, American Tree sparrow.
This Longmont city park sits along Saint Vrain Creek and is part of the Saint Vrain Greenway. A large pond hosts waterfowl seasonally, and a trail skirts the riparian woodland along the creek. There is a large parking lot on the east side of Hover St. and a smaller lot on the north side of Boston Ave.
Restrooms closed 2nd Sunday of October through 2nd Sunday of April.
A loop trail circles the pond. The trail along the riparian woodland extends west and east as part of the Saint Vrain Greenway.
