This hotspot is mainly for waterfowl, but there are a few trees around the back ponds and good vegetation around the back ponds for sparrows and possible Sora. This is a small lake or decent size pond and a scope is not required here. There is a creek and large trees than run behind Grace Church that is decent for passerines, but recently there was a fire and this area is burned pretty bad. It should still be good for wintering birds and woodpeckers. Eastern Screech Owl have been heard from this area. The best time to hit this spot is winter.
Waterfowl and wintering passerines. Nothing out of the ordinary has been recorded here.
There is a sign on this lake that states it is for residents only, but there are good viewing opportunities of the main lake from the road (Stone Lake Drive). Lake Bend Drive is a road that runs on the south side of the lake that affords good viewing opportunities. There is a cement path that winds around the main pond. There are actually 3 ponds. Two smaller ponds to the northwest of the main pond.
