Tips for Birding

The lake at the center of the neighborhood is visible from Rosinante Street and along Lazy Willow Drive. Parking is along the residential streets. 

Birds of Interest

The lake at the center of the neighborhood often holds ducks in winter. Songbirds can be found throughout the neighborhood, but the more vegetated northern sections are often more productive, as are the canals along the northern and western edges of the neighborhood. 

The far western edge of this neighborhood, along Rosinante Street, held the only regional record of Couch's Kingbird in 2008. 

About this Location

A residential neighborhood centered on a small man-made lake. 

Note that the state line runs just south / west of Rosinante Street. See satellite image at right for a boundary of the neighborhood, but lists submitted for this hotspot should be used only for the Texas side.
