From Hwy. 9 at Hanlontown, take Grouse Ave. north two miles to the slough, which runs for about a mile along the east side of the road, with three small pull-offs along the way. Four shallow lakes amidst an extensive wetland complex, with a grassland perimeter. This is a public hunting area.
