The Jemez Springs hotspot is a general hotspot for the town of Jemez Springs. One of the better birding areas in the town is the Jemez Springs Community Park, where you can park and access the Jemez River riparian habitat. The Jemez Mountain Inn, across from Laughing Lizard and Los Ojos, has many hummingbird feeders and is generally friendly to birders looking to watch the hummingbirds. Parking there is very tight, so you may want to park elsewhere and walk in. Just check in at the front desk.
Jemez Springs is a village that attracts visitors with its natural beauty and cultural heritage. It is located along the Jemez Mountain Trail National Scenic Byway, less than an hour north of Albuquerque. Jemez Springs is famous for its hot springs, which have been used for healing and relaxation for centuries. The village also offers outdoor adventure, such as hiking, fishing, and skiing, in the nearby Valles Caldera National Preserve, a volcanic crater.
