Birds are often distant, so a scope is very helpful.

This hotspot is on private land. While there is no public access it can be viewed from the roadside. Take caution, as this is a fairly busy road.

The landowner is welcoming of birders, but please park on the west side of Curry Pike (KY 1343), which is the far side of the road from the pond. Pull all the way off the road and use flashers as necessary. It may be best to park on the hill just north of the pond and scope from there.
