About this Location

Norman Gilbert Park, 3.5 acres, is named after Norman Gilbert, a former mayor of Beverly who served from 1958 to 1962. He was instrumental in developing the park and improving the quality of life in the city. The park is open from dawn to dusk and is maintained by the Beverly Parks and Recreation Department. 

This park is a popular destination for its playground and athletic fields. The bordering woods and wetlands may be productive for birding.
