Mount Williams is the third-highest peak in Massachusetts, with an elevation of 2,951 feet. It is located in the northwest corner of the state, within the Hoosac Range of the Berkshire Mountains. MThe Appalachian Trail crosses Mount Williams and offers scenic views of the surrounding valleys and hills. The summit can be reached by a moderate hike of about 2.5 miles from the trailhead at the end of Notch Road.
