Tips for Birding

Both sides of the road are private although the road is public. Please be respectful to the rights of private land owners. 

Birds of Interest

Sparrows and other open field species are more prevelant on the western side. Also birds of prey like Red-Shouldered, Red Tailed and American Kestrel are common. Song birds are more common on the eastern side

About this Location

The road runs primarily west to east. I have always started from the western side. On that side, it is open farmland. On the east side where the road ends, it is alongside a stream with mature hardwoods
