This western Iowa state park has had a number of rarities over the years from Black-bellied Whistling-Duck to scoters to Mountain Bluebirds.
In northeastern Cass Co. Less than a mile south on Hwy. 148 out of Anita, look for the park entrance on the west side. This park has varied habitats and has been great birding from waterfowl to passerines.
A paved path circles the lake.
