As one of the few areas in Loving County with irrigated grass and trees, the courthouse offers chances for small passerines.
Birds seen at the courthouse include Scaled Quail and Black-chinned Hummingbird, Killdeer (believe-it-or-not, with no water to speak of), Ladder-backed Woodpecker, Western Wood-Pewee, Western Kingbird and Scissor-tailed Flycatcher, Curve-billed Thrasher, American Robin and House Finch.
Restrooms are available inside the Courthouse during business hours.
There is no wheelchair accessible “trail,” but the sidewalk and parking areas around the Courthouse are wheelchair accessible.
