When submitting eBird observations at the James River Park System, it is most helpful to start a new checklist for each hotspot in the area. Use the general hotspot when you have a checklist that includes multiple locations or if no other hotspot or personal location is appropriate for your sightings.

From this location, you can walk west (upriver) to the 42nd Street area and beyond, or walk east along the Reedy Creek trail.

This hotspot shares the same parking lot as the "Reedy Creek" hotspot, and the two hotspots are just 100 meters apart.

There are 2-3 portable toilets here.
