About this Location

In 2020 Trudy Daniels transferred ownership of her 146 acres of land on Pumpkin Hill Road to Ausbon Sargent Land Conservation Trust.

This property is highly ranked for wildlife habitat in the 2020 Wildlife Action Plan and will be forever conserved for wildlife. It includes an extensive beaver pond wetland and a portion of the Frazier Brook. The property is near other conserved lands in the towns of Warner, Salisbury, and Webster, helping to create a wildlife corridor in that portion of our region.

Trudy Daniels shared “For 28 years I have been observing three dynasties of beavers on the pond. I want to make sure that they, the beautiful old forest with its rich wildlife and wood plants, in other words, fauna, and flora, be preserved for future generations and hope that they will enjoy and treasure it for years to come.”
