About this Location

Dykes Pasture Road is is named after the former owner of the land, John Dyke, who established a farm there in the 18th century. The road offers a glimpse of the rural history and natural beauty of the area, as it passes by fields, woods, ponds and streams. Along the way, visitors can also see some historic landmarks, such as the Dyke House, the oldest surviving house in Gloucester, and the Dyke Memorial Chapel, a small stone church built in 1892. 

Dykes Pasture Road is a mountain bike trail adjacent to Lily Pond.
