Indian Run Reservoir is accessed from Old Mountain Field, South Kingstown's oldest park.

Artist Keith R. Wahl describes Indian Run Reservoir and its trails as the heart of the "urban" part of the "suburban" village of Wakefield, Rhode Island. At one time in the not-so-distant past, it was part of a "rural route".  An oasis of trails surrounding a reservoir fed by a myriad of rivers and streams.
