Spring Grove Cemetery

Spring Grove Cemetery was established in 1850 as a rural cemetery, designed to provide a natural and picturesque setting for the burial of the town's residents. The cemetery covers 53 acres and contains over 8,000 graves, including those of prominent Andover citizens, veterans of various wars, and victims of the 1860 Andover train wreck. The cemetery features a Gothic Revival chapel, a granite archway, and several monuments and memorials. Spring Grove Cemetery is listed on the National Register of Historic Places and is open to the public year-round.
