Palmer Airport was a small airfield located in the town of Palmer. The airport was built in the 1930s and operated until the 1970s when it was closed due to low demand and safety issues. The airport had a single runway and a hangar and served mainly private pilots and local businesses. A large solar energy farm now is on the land that was once the Palmer Airport.
