Rancho Grande Ponds provide up to 4.0 surface acres of fishable water contained in two impoundments. It is located approximately 7 miles west of Reserve near the intersection of NM-12 and US-180.

The ponds are on private property, but open to the public through the New Mexico Department of Game and Fish Open Gate program. However, to avoid trespassing, in any party of 3 adults, at least 1 person must have a New Mexico fishing license.
