Well-marked trails and a nice array of species makes this park a joy to bird. On the upland trails there are some roots and rocks, so watch your footing.
This is a park where, during transitional seasons of the year, you can see all seven species of woodpecker. Three species of owl have been reported here as well. There is a Great Blue Heron rookery on or adjacent to this property.
This is a well-maintained park with good trails; (for the most part) people tend to keep their dogs on leashes here, and pick up the dog's leavings. The orange trail is the easiest and follows the creek. The blue, green, and red trails are mostly upland trails and are moderately difficult; there are also roots and rocks on these.
See map for locations of Orange, Blue, Red, and Green trails, All are well-marked on the land.
