Located on the exit road of Castle in the Clouds, Shannon Pond is a constructed pond created by Tom Plant circa 1913. He kept it stocked with rainbow trout and it remains stocked today!

At Shannon Pond, you can see Mount Roberts, Mount Faraway, and Mount Shaw in the distance. Shannon Pond is the starting point for many of the Castle of the Clouds walking trails.

The Meadows are adjacent to Shannon Pond.
