New Marlborough Land Trust New Marlborough, Massachusetts
Official WebsiteThe New Marlborough Land Trust (NMLT) trailhead is a principal gateway into Cookson State Forest, where you can choose from several hikes of varying lengths, from easy to challenging. Picnic facilities by Thousand Acre Swamp, as well as the unique Stebbins suspension footbridge, are a half-mile, flat walk from the gate. Cross the footbridge and follow the path for a quarter-mile to the foundations of old mills. Beyond this point are a multitude of trails that are more fully described in the Trail Guide available from the NMLT.
