This small park is certainly worth a brief stop but does not otherwise qualify as a destination birding spot. The bordering thickets and scattered trees may attract a few migrants.
Still rather poorly known with fewer than 50 species currently recorded, the presence of Clay-colored Sparrow (in the adjacent vacant lot) is notable.
Indian River Park is a small, community park southeast of the intersection of Indian River Line and Hollering Road in the hamlet of Indian River. Only a half hectare in extent, it consists of manicured lawns and a playground. It has a few scattered deciduous trees and mature Norway Spruce and is bordered by shrub thickets.
