Tips for Birding

The park is primarily used by birders in the late winter/early spring to scope for migrating waterfowl as its one of the first areas to have open water in the spring.

Birds of Interest

Notable birds of interest include Barrow's Goldeneye (2012) and American White Pelican (2021)

Description: Located off of the 3rd Line of Asphodel in the rural/urban community known as Asphodel Heights, this secluded little park is a perfect setting to sit back and watch boat traffic and relax or just play along the Trent River.
