Parking is available along Acorn-Ano road to access the area park here 37.114883, -84.347734 and walk past the gate. There is also parking here: 37.11416, -84.338087

This is not usually a busy area, so birding along the road is doable. 

This hotspot is an old strip mine. It’s a Wildlife Management Area owned by the Kentucky Department of Fish & Wildlife. Hunters may be present during hunting seasons.
