In partnership with the Cumberland Land Trust and the Pawtucket Water Supply Board, the Town of Cumberland is contributing toward the purchase of open space land along the edge of Little Pond in Lippitt Estates. The total acreage is 5.8 acres and some of it is wetlands. The lots line up along the edge of the pond at the end of Theater Drive, which is off the eastern end of Scott Road.
