Berkeley Community Garden is open to the public (approximately) sunrise to sunset, 7 days a week, so you can come and stroll the garden at your leisure. The garden runs a full city block, with plenty of room to walk. There is also a grassy area in the middle of the garden where you can spend a moment and take in a bit of nature.
The garden is located on East Berkeley Street in Boston’s South End; between Tremont Steet and Shawmut Avenue. There are parking meters on Tremont Street should you drive. The garden is very accessible via public transit. Bus #43 stops in front of the garden, and the Silver Line is a block away. It is also a 10-12 minute walk from Arlington (Green Line), Back Bay (Orange Line), or Broadway (Red Line).
