Pleasant Valley Parkway is a 0.6-mile-long, landscaped, curving city park in the Elmhurst neighborhood of Providence.  Pleasant Valley Parkway was established in 1909 when the city acquired a tract of land surrounding a stream flowing from Academy Avenue parallel to Chalkstone Avenue.
