Pebble Beach has views of the Atlantic Ocean and the rocky coastline. The beach is named after the smooth pebbles that cover the shore, which have been shaped by the waves over time. The beach is a good place to watch the sunrise and sunset, as well as the occasional whale or seal.
The beach is located at the end of South Street. From downtown Rockport, follow MA-127A south for approximately 3 miles to fork at Cape Hedge Inn. Continue straight on South Street for approximately 400 yards and then turn left on Penzance Road to Pebble Beach.
