Burgin, Kentucky 40330
Official WebsiteHistorical hotspot that's no longer accessible or attractive to most birds.
This location was once the site of an ash pond that attracted shorebirds, terns, gulls and waterfowl. The plant is now a dry storage facility, a system to treat water from the plant that comes in contact with coal combustion residual materials, and a pond with a synthetic liner where the water will be discharged.
