Private lake in gated community. Binoculars at minimum, scope is best but be aware of traffic (heavy at times including large trucks) with only parking along the side of the road. Not all portions of the lake are visible from the road. On sunny days, best viewing is mid-morning to mid-afternoon.
Waterfowl especially in late fall to early spring. Resident winter Osprey. Occasional Bald Eagle. Check eBird hotspot for most recent sightings but be aware not all species will be visible from the road (resident birder does reporting from other access points).
Private 10-acre lake in gated property owner association (POA) community. No access to non-residents. Viewing is from the side of Texas State Highway 80. This is a very busy road so make sure that you are pulled off as far as possible. Pull-off areas are reasonably good but be careful in wet weather. Do not park in gated entrance area. Do not "tailgate" into community, POA will consider trespassing charges.
