Tips for Birding

The little house to the left of the river access gate is part of the sanctuary property and may be birded.

Walk around the gate and down the hill. Be careful in wet weather--the hill might be slippery.

At the bottom of the hill, turn left along the mowed pathway and follow the mowed area to benches set up by the feeding platforms and water feature.

You could also continue straight at the bottom of the hill to access the road that runs parallel with the river.

It is possible to walk past the "platform" and down to the road that runs along the river from the feeding stations/water feature area.

About this Location

There is parking on the corner immediately north of the entrance gate.
