This is a neighborhood of private hours in hilly habitat with chaparral and oaks overlooking Carmel Valley Village. The roads are paved but winding, and the only birding available is from the roads (unless invited to a private yard). It has been known in the past for good numbers of hummingbirds and flights of finches. Because of the winding roads, take care in driving and parking, and please don't block private driveways.
