King Street Memorial Park was established in 1976 to honor the veterans of the Vietnam War, who were also residents of Franklin. The park features a granite monument with the names of 16 soldiers who died in the war, as well as a flagpole, benches, and a playground. The park is open daily from dawn to dusk and is maintained by the Franklin Parks and Recreation Department.
