This small (less than 8 acre) cemetery features numerous juniper trees, particularly on the west side. These might be birdable from NM-330. Roads within the cemetery are narrow and dirt; it is difficult to make the turns without running over a grave if you are in a larger vehicle. The entire cemetery is easily walked in dry weather, and parking is available in front of the main entrance. The grounds are not turfed, yet vegetation is kept mowed. Outside the wire fence, surrounding land is grazed short-grass prairie with tumbleweed.
