Naked mountain area with Syðradalur to the south and Norðradalur to the north. Steep slopes and cliffs on three of four sides of a relatively flat plateau. Do not go here in foggy/bad weather. Nice view out on the Atlantic Ocean when good conditions. Few birds, but always Northern Fulmars sailing along the mountain sides in the summer season. Have observed flocks of Golden Plovers in this area during fall. Parking at suitable places along the road.
