Sparrows, herons, wrens, warblers and woodpecker species.
A peaceful and interesting walking area. Good parking for access to Little Blue Trace County Park and trails both east and west along the Little Blue River. Known for excellent warbler birding in the spring. Wetland areas along south side of the river provide habitat for herons, some waterfowl, shorebirds and sparrows alongside of the trail.
Little Blue Trace Trail, currently through the largest contiguous county park in America, nearly two-thousand acres.
