Capen Hill Nature Sanctuary is a non-profit organization. It is an 86-acre green space located in Charlton. The trails are open from dawn until dusk and a visitor center houses a library, mineral collection, live animals, and gift shop.

The sanctuary is free of charge to enjoy. The main mission of the organization is the preservation and environmental education. The Capen Hill Nature Sanctuary is host to many programs and a summer nature and science camp.
