Southbridge, Massachusetts 01550
Official WebsiteMcKinstry Brook Wildlife Management Area is a 226-acre wildlife management area owned by the Massachusetts State Division of Fisheries and Wildlife, so there are no maintained trails; however, it is an easy hike through the woods. The area experienced severe blowdowns and damage in a 2011 tornado. As a result, the area can no longer be traversed from end to end. Parking is available at two trailheads: Plimpton Street, for the southern section, and Pleasant Street, opposite the airport, for the northern section.
The AllTrails website has descriptions and maps of hikes at McKinstry Brook Wildlife Management Area.
