Comerford Reservoir is a hydroelectric reservoir located in the town of Monroe. It was created in 1930 by the construction of the Comerford Dam on the Connecticut River. The reservoir has a surface area of about 1,000 acres and a maximum depth of 163 feet. It is used for power generation, recreation, and wildlife habitat. The reservoir is part of the Connecticut Lakes Headwaters Working Forest, which is managed by the Forestland Group for conservation and sustainable forestry.
Comerford Reservoir is on the New Hampshire-Vermont border. The hotspot is placed at the west end of the reservoir at the dam.
