Once open for cars, the dirt road is now blocked. However, the road route is a 1 mile walk though there are areas further afield to explore as well. Park on the street behind the Home Depot. 

Shorebirds, wading birds, ducks & sparrows. A tri-colored heron stopped by a few years ago as did an Anhinga.
