Needham Reservoir

About this Location

Needham Reservoir was created in 1881 by damming Rosemary Brook to provide water for the town. The reservoir covers an area of 124 acres and has a maximum depth of 18 feet. The reservoir is surrounded by a park that offers recreational activities such as hiking, biking, fishing, and boating.

An accessible trail, a 6-foot-wide path made of stone, wood boardwalk, or cement concrete, circles the Needham Reservoir.
