For over 100 years the Quidnessett Memorial Cemetery has been well-known for its beauty and serenity. Founded in 1902 the cemetery is open to all people regardless of race or religion. With 125 acres of park-like grounds and meandering roads, a pond, and a memorial garden visitors are welcome and may participate in its historical tours and musical concerts held on the grounds.  Quidnessett Cemetery is non-profit, run by Board members who themselves are lot owners with loved ones buried within the gates of the cemetery.
