About this Location

The Cedar Trail begins at the parking lot for the Visitor Centre. The main loop passes through oak savanna forest and provides access to a small viewing platform along the Old Ausable Channel. An extension of the main trail continues to the Dunes Campground and the Lake Huron shore. The main loop is wheel chair accessible but the extension is not. This trail is open throughout the year but the trail is not maintained in the winter. Washrooms are available at the Visitor Centre when the building is open.
