Look for sparrows along the entrance road, check the small pond, bird around the parking area, bird along the roadway even if the entrance gate is not open. See if you can add to the checklist.
Flycatchers, towhee, Bell's Vireo, Blue Grosbeak, Long-eared Owl, waterfowl on the pond.
The center was developed to introduce young children to nature. New trails are being designed to open up the area. Over the years it has proven to be a good stop when you check out the Bridger Urban Conservation Area. The checklist noted does not reflect what has been seen on the area. It is easy to add your sightings into nearby hotspots. I have always been welcomed when the area is open.
Check-out the new trails.
