Albert J. Pirone Memorial Park was established in 1976 to honor Albert J. Pirone, a local hero who served in the U.S. Army during World War II and the Korean War. The park features a playground, a basketball court, a baseball field, a picnic area, and a memorial plaque. The park is open year-round and hosts events and activities for the community. The park is maintained by the Ayer Parks Department and the Friends of Pirone Park, a volunteer group that raises funds and organizes improvements for the park.
The Albert J. Pirone Memorial Park is located on Bligh Street in Ayer.
