Norumbega Park was acquired by the City of Newton around 1975. Located in Auburndale, access to the 13.27 acres is available on Woodbine Street off of Commonwealth Avenue near the Marriott in Newton. Norumbega Conservation Area is a recommended picnic site of the Charles River Pathway.
