About this Location

The trail network of the Dublin School Nordic Center lies between Yankee Publishing and Dublin Consolidated School, both of which are located on Main Street (NH-101).

The Dublin School Nordic Center opened in January 2014. The 9 km trail system provides the school with a state-of-the-art training and racing facility to complement its long-existing 20 km trail system below Dublin Road. The trails are designed to be challenging and fun, with lots of twists and turns to keep young people entertained while developing important skills and balance for the sport.

The Nordic Center is free and open to the public when not being used for school and regional events, and when conditions are safe for skiing. The center runs off of donations. There are suggested daily donations for the use of the snowmaking area.

Dublin is a charming small town that is home to Dublin School, a private boarding and day school that offers a rigorous and supportive academic environment for students in grades 9-12. Dublin School has an impressive trail network that covers more than 200 acres of woodlands, fields, and ponds. The trails are open to the public and are used for hiking, biking, skiing, and snowshoeing. The trail network connects the school with Yankee Magazine, a popular publication that celebrates the beauty and traditions of New England. Yankee Magazine was founded in Dublin in 1935 by Robb and Beatrix Sagendorph, who bought The Old Farmer's Almanac in 1939. Yankee Publishing, which owns both magazines, is based in Dublin and occupies a historic building that was once part of the 1920s Dublin art colony. Visitors can enjoy views of the Wapack Range and Mount Monadnock from the magazine's headquarters, as well as explore the gardens and bee house on the property.
