About this Location

Corliss Landing is a historic site in Gloucester where the town's first settlers landed in 1623. The landing was named after John Corliss, one of the original colonists from England on the ship Anne. Corliss Landing is now a public park with a plaque commemorating the event and a replica of the Anne. The park offers scenic views of the harbor and the city skyline and access to the nearby Fishermen's Memorial and Maritime Gloucester.

Corliss Landing is a small beach and boat landing area along a rocky shore with a boat ramp, benches, and picnic tables. The parking lot is at the end of Apple Street.
