Blueberry Hill Hawk Watch is on the highest hilltop in a plateau of hills with a 360-degree view from a roomy ledge outcropping. The lookout is surrounded partly by wild low blueberry fields and partly by small trees and brush.
The site is eight miles west of the ridge-line running north and south on the western edge of the Connecticut River Valley.
Access is from North Lane in West Granville, Mass, 1.4 miles north of state MA-57. A small parking lot is on the right and an easy three-minute walk to the top.
The property is the Phelon Forest owned by the New England Forestry Foundation and open to public recreational use.
