This hotspot is best in the fall and winter. Look along the opposite bank for shorebirds. Don't ignore the brush at the roadside. We have found wrens, flycatchers and mockingbirds in it.
Greater Yellowlegs Spotted Sandpipers, Killdeer, Hooded Mergansers, Pied-Billed Grebes, herons and egrets. In the brush: N. Mockingbird, Carolina Wrens, flycatchers.
This is a good-size tank or pond. Cattle use it to drink. It is private and therefore a roadside viewing area only.
